With notifications, iAuditor users have the ability to notify the appropriate users or groups within their organization in real-time whenever a particular response is selected during an inspection. Notifications can be sent via push notification, email, or SMS, enabling faster communication between teams. 

IMPORTANT NOTE

Notifications can be applied to Basic Question fields.

Template Editor: Notifications

iAuditor WebApp: Create and configure notifications

  1. Navigate to the template editor and add or select a basic question field type.
  2. Click on the “Notify” checkbox to enable a notification (this will open the configuration sidebar).
  3. Select the appropriate response from the sidebar to trigger a notification.
  4. Select who will be notified from the sidebar (individual users and groups within your organization can be selected).
  5. Click on “Save and apply” to confirm the selections.
  6. To edit a configured notification click on the blue text which appears after “Notify: ” to re-open the notification configuration sidebar.

iOS Devices: Create and configure notifications

  1. Navigate to the template editor and add or select a basic question field type.
  2. Click on the 3 vertical dots located towards the right-hand side of the selected field.
  3. Select “Notify” from the pop-up menu.
  4. Select the appropriate response to trigger a notification.
  5. Select the appropriate users/groups from within your organization to notify.
  6. Tap “Save and apply”.
  7. To edit a configured notification, select the field and then click on the blue text which appears after “Notify: ” to re-open the notification configuration sidebar.
  • TIP: Notifications can be check from the “Overview” tab by clicking on the “Bell” icon in the upper-righthand corner.

Android Devices: Create and configure notifications

  1. Navigate to the template editor and add or select a basic question field type.
  2. Click on the “Notify” checkbox to enable a notification (this will open the configuration sidebar).
  3. Select the appropriate response from the sidebar to trigger a notification.
  4. Select who will be notified from the sidebar (individual users and groups within your organization can be selected).
  5. Click on “Save and apply” to confirm the selections.
  6. To edit a configured notification click on the blue text which appears after “Notify: ” to re-open the notification configuration sidebar.
  • TIP: Notifications can be check from the “Overview” tab by clicking on the “Bell” icon in the upper-righthand corner.
IMPORTANT NOTE

Users can click on “View Audit” in notification emails to be taken to the triggered response in the associated inspection.
