In order to raise your standards, whether it’s safety or quality, it’s important to identify areas of interest in your inspection workflows and mark them for tracking. With iAuditor, you can set specific multiple-choice responses as “failed responses” so that they are flagged on each inspection report when selected and compiled to be viewed in Analytics. This not only helps you understand where your team’s missed areas are over time but also offers opportunities to create actions and resolve these issues.

This article shows you how to set multiple-choice responses as failed responses on the web app and the mobile app. You can also track failed responses when you capture temperature measurements, learn how to create temperature response questions.

Before you begin

You must have “View and Edit” permission at least for the template you wish to set multiple-choice failed responses in. Learn how you can share your templates with your team.

Please note that changes made to a response set apply to all questions that use the response set in the template. You can create new custom response sets to use for other questions you may have, or set multiple-choice failed responses to questions individually.

Keep in mind that changes made to multiple-choice failed responses only apply to new inspections moving forward. If you would like to apply your updated failed responses to existing inspections, contact our customer support team for assistance.
