With notifications, iAuditor users have the ability to notify the appropriate users or groups in real-time whenever a particular response is selected during an inspection. Notifications can be sent via push notification, email, or SMS, enabling faster communication between teams. 

IMPORTANT NOTE

Notifications only apply to Basic Question fields at this time.

 Create and configure notifications – iAuditor Website

  1. Navigate to the template editor and add a basic question field type.
  2. Click on the checkbox on the bottom-right of the field to enable a notification (this will open the configuration side bar).
  3. Select the appropriate response from the side bar to trigger notification.
  4. Select who will be notified from the side bar (individual users and groups can be selected).
  5. Click on “Done” to confirm the selections.
  6. To edit a configured notification click on edit to re-open the notification configuration sidebar.

Create and configure notifications – iOS Devices

  1. Navigate to the template editor and add a basic question field type.
  2. Toggle the “Enable Notification” slider on.
  3. Select the appropriate response to trigger notification.
  4. Tap “next” in the upper-righthand corner to continue to user/group selection.
  5. Select who will be notified from the list (individual users and groups can be toggled at the top).
  6. Tap “next” in the upper-righthand corner to continue to the confirmation page.
  7. Review settings and tap “Confirm” in the upper-righthand corner once done.
  8. To edit a configured notification tap on edit to re-open the notification configuration.
  • TIP: Notifications can be check from the “Overview” tab by clicking on the “Bell” icon in the upper-righthand corner.

 Create and configure notifications – Android Devices

  1. Navigate to the template editor and add a basic question field type.
  2. Toggle the “Enable Notification” slider on.
  3. Select the appropriate response to trigger notification (this will automatically take you to the next page).
  4. Select who will be notified from the list (the list will show groups first and then individual users below that).
  5. Tap on the checkmark in the upper-righthand corner to continue to the confirmation page.
  6. Review settings and tap the checkmark again once done.
  7. To edit a configured notification tap on edit to re-open the notification configuration.
  • TIP: Notifications can be check from the “Overview” tab by clicking on the “Bell” icon in the upper-righthand corner.
IMPORTANT NOTE

Users can click on “View Audit” in notification emails to be taken to the triggered response in the associated inspection.
