Scoring is a powerful tool to give users insights into how their inspections are performing over time. There are a number of ways to customize the scoring of your inspection templates to suit the needs of your organization. You can either change the score value of individual responses or adjust the weight of individual questions, and for certain scenarios, you can also remove scoring from certain responses or questions entirely so that they don’t affect the performance of inspections.

This article shows you how to manage the scoring of your inspection templates on the web app and the mobile app. Keep in mind that only the following response types can contribute to inspection scores:

  • Multiple-choice/response set
  • Checkbox
  • Slider
