This article will help you

  • Export audits in PDF, Word, CSV or JSON format
  • Bulk Export up to 1,000 audits into a single CSV document
  • Archive templates/audits and prevent them from syncing
  • Restore templates/audits from the archive
  • Permanently delete templates/audits
  • Duplicate templates

iAuditor the web interface allows you to export, duplicate and archive both templates and audits. Each of these abilities can be performed on multiple templates/audits.

Tip: Most of the steps below can also be performed individually per template or audit, simply click on the template/audit to show the right-hand menu and then look for the relevant button.

Exporting Audits

Users are able to export audits using iAuditor by first navigating to the “Audits” menu. Once the page has loaded, check any audits you wish to export and then click the “Exporting” drop down menu. You can now export your audits as PDF, Word, CSV & JSON.

Your downloadable file will be a zip archive containing the selected audits.

Note: iAuditor the web app does utilize Export Profiles at this stage for PDF only. Export Profiles attached to a template are still transferred between synced devices.

Bulk Exporting Audits

You’re able to bulk export up to 1,000 audits using iAuditor by first navigating to the “Audits” menu, which allows you to directly open the spreadsheet into Microsoft Excel, Apple’s Number, or Google sheets.

This is the best way to export your data, if you want to use a pivot table to drill down into your audit data.

The audits are automatically grouped by template, so each file will be named by the unique template ID, and inside the file you will see the data for each audit conducted using that particular template.

For example, if you bulk export all audits, and you want to view all audits conducted from a particular template, they will now be in one convenient file.

The process for exporting individual audits remains as per normal and will have the vertical format, rather than the bulk exporting horizontal format.

To export the audits of one template into one CSV, please follow the steps below:

  1. Login to iAuditor, the web app
  2. Go to the audit section
  3. Click on the “Filter: Off”
  4. Sort by the template and a date range.
  5. Tick the box to the left of the search bar to select all audits on the page, then click select all reports.
  6. Click on export -> select CSV

Both templates and audits can be archived for historical purposes. Archived templates/audits do not sync and are not accessible from iAuditor.

How to Archive:

Just like exporting and duplicating, select the templates/audits you wish to archive, then click the “Archive” button.

How to Restore:

First, load the Archive by clicking on “Templates” or “Audits” from the main menu.  Next, click the “Archive” button in the top-right corner of the page.  Your archived templates/audits will appear.

You can now unarchive any template/audit by clicking the green “Restore” button next to it.  Alternatively, you can also multi-select a number of templates/audits and then click the “Restore” button located next to the search field – this will unarchive all selected files.

Deleting from the Archive:

While in the archive, you can delete any of your templates/audits by clicking the red “Delete” button next to any file.  Just like restoring, you can also bulk delete from the archive by multi-selecting and then clicking the white “Delete” button near the top.

Warning: Deleting templates or audits from the archive is permanent and irreversible. We can not restore permanently deleted items.

You will be prompted for confirmation before any items are deleted, so be sure you aren’t accidentally deleting the wrong templates/audits.

Duplicating Templates

To duplicate a template, first navigate to the “Templates” menu.  Then select the Templates you wish to duplicate by clicking the checkbox next to each one.  Finally, click the “Duplicate” button.
