Dynamic Fields allow you to ask the same questions as many time as required.  For example, an inspection with many pieces of equipment may need certain information recorded for each one: serial number, model number, time since last inspection, etc. Dynamic Fields makes this process easy. It is not always possible to know

Dynamic Fields makes this process easy. It is not always possible to know the quantity of particular items at an inspection location. The Dynamic Field allows you to enter in that set of questions once, and then replicate that question set as many times as required.

A Dynamic Field does not have to be nested under other items unlike a Smart Field. However, the fields  must be nested underneath the Dynamic Field. When placing a Dynamic Field, you can name the field itself as per normal and you can name the question set. This is called the “element.” The element is given a numeric sequence number, so it will appear as “Equipment 1, Equipment 2, Equipment 3..” and so on.
