A title page is the front page of your report that gets generated in iAuditor. Creating consistent inspection titles will help you distinguish between inspections in your list. And make analysing performance of inspections easier in analytics.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The Inspection Title feature and Title Page can only be edited from the web platform at this time

How to edit the Inspection Title

Inspections can be titled using the Inspection Title field. To edit your Inspection Title, go to the Sections tab within a new or existing template on the web platform and select the Title page.

To edit the Inspection Title Field, click on the ‘Edit’ button.

From here, you can select the fields that will display. Choose from ‘conducted by’, ‘inspection name’’ and more. You can select up to eight different fields to display information such as: project name, or person, and you can even add a Smart field.

If you want to standardise information such as store name, person/staff or hazard type or site. You can add a multiple choice response set, or a global response set.

Simply drag a multiple choice field into the title page and select your response set.

Adding Smart Fields to Inspection Titles

To add a Smart field, you can simply drag it underneath a question or multiple choice field, select the response set, and choose how the smart field generates.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Fields that aren’t supported on the Inspection Title: category, checkbox, drawing, information, media, dynamic fields, text, and the switch.  Read more about field types.

Your changes will save automatically and the template is ready to use for an inspection.

After an inspector fills it with the appropriate information and completes the inspection, the system will automatically generate the inspection title. Standardised and easy to search within the Inspections list.

The completed inspection will be displayed in your account’s Inspections section, and you’ll be able to tell exactly what inspection it is at a glance.

You can easily distinguish between inspections in the analytics view. See Analytics in-depth for more information about how to analyse the performance of your inspections.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Please note that changing the inspection title field will not change previous inspection files; only files created after the change will be affected.
