Groups are a great way to help you organize users and manage document access, as well as organization permissions in bulk.

This article shows you how to add and remove users from groups, either one at a time or in bulk, on the web app.

Before you begin

Please note that users can only be added and removed from groups on the web app, by administrators or users with the “Group Management” permission. Learn more about permissions and how you can assign them as an administrator.

If your organization doesn’t have any groups, learn how you can create groups before adding in users.
