If you’re seeing different sets of information between the mobile app and the web app, try manually syncing your iAuditor mobile app to refresh and sync the data.

Sync conflicts

Sync conflicts occur when a document has been edited at the same time on two or more platforms. As the changes from different platforms attempt to sync, the different versions conflict with each other and stop the syncing on relevant documents until the conflict is resolved. You can follow the steps below to resolve sync conflicts.

  1. Open the iAuditor mobile app.
  2. Tap “Inspections” at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Select the “In Progress & Complete” tab at the top of your screen.
  4. You should see a yellow banner at the top to indicate that there are sync conflicts. The conflicts must be resolved before the relevant documents can be synced.
  5. Tap “RESOLVE” or the yellow banner.
  6. This shows the list of documents that have sync conflicts.
  7. For each document, tap the document and select from the following options.
Keep my version: Replace the other version with the local version on the device.
Keep their version: Replace the local version on the device with the other version.
Keep a copy of both (safest option): Keep both the other version and the local version on your device. This also appends the local version’s title with “- local copy” or “Copy”. We recommend that you always select this option as it gives you the opportunity to check which version to keep.
