Achieving safer workplaces and higher quality results are at the heart of our mission at iAuditor. We want to help our customers identify issues more effectively and aim to drive actions to resolve the issues. With sensors at iAuditor, you can set up alerts to automatically notify stakeholders as soon as something goes out of critical range, then create and assign actions to resolve alerts immediately.

This article shows you how to create actions from sensor alerts on the web app and the mobile app. Learn how you can also create actions from inspections.

Before you begin

You must have the “Sensor Access” permission to see sensor-related data in your organization and create actions from sensor alerts. Learn how to assign permissions as an administrator.

Whilst there is no limit on the number of actions you can create, only one action can be associated or linked with a sensor alert at any time. These actions can always be accessed from both the actions list and the sensor alert list.

As sensor sites are separate from the sites used in other areas of the product, such as inspections, the site for an action created from a sensor alert does not prefill. Rest assured, we do plan on bringing both together in the future.
