It’s a quarter of the way through 2018 and the team at SafetyCulture have been hard at work! Over the last three months, we’ve released a range of features and improvements that make managing an inspection program much easier for your business.

Supercharge productivity using Actions Analytics

Using Actions Analytics you can track and follow up Actions logged in your Actions Command Center and ensure they are adequately addressed in a timely manner.

Dig in to your Actions and Issues data

To allow you to better understand the context of the data you collect from both Actions and Issues, we're releasing additional options in Actions and Issues Analytics to drill-down further on the graphs and understand the details that lie behind the numbers.

New actions experience to all remaining users

The new actions experience gives you eyes and ears on the ground at all times by empowering your team to turn issues into actions. Inside or outside of inspections, team members can assign actions at anytime. 

Set up automated workflows with your inspections

Do you need to notify someone after an inspection is completed? When there are multiple flagged items? When the inspection needs approval? We are currently looking at how we can make it easier for you to automatically notify the right people or execute corrective actions from your inspections.

See failed responses and actions in your web reports

Lately, we’ve been working on improving the web report experience. Upon receiving feedback from you, our customers, we endeavoured to match the features you know and love on the PDF exports.

Add photo evidence to corrective actions

you can now add photo evidence to your corrective actions. This helps you ensure a problem has been fixed correctly in real-time. Getting problems resolved fast will save you time, and precious resources. With iAuditor's corrective actions, you can take the next step when a problem or non-compliance is spotted.

Due and overdue reminders

Now, those assigned actions, issues, or observations can receive push notifications and automatic emails that are sent both as a reminder or as soon as an item becomes overdue.  Of course, you would still be able to turn notifications for this off if it isn’t your cup of tea – but a gentle reminder at the right time could make all the difference in getting problems resolved.

Context for actions

Would you like to have all of the relevant information for an action served to you in the activity view? We’re thinking yes. Details around the Inspection that an Action came from, the question itself, and any photos, notes, or other evidence are now fed into the conversation so that you don’t have to search for context.

Introducing collaborative actions

Collaborative actions puts every worker on your team in charge of making sure that things look right. Everyone is empowered to flag issues by raising an action on their mobile device as they carry out their work, and can give as much context and evidence as they like to make sure the rest of the team will understand exactly what needs to be fixed.

Assign corrective actions to external assignees

Corrective Actions allows you to spot an issue, assign it to a team member, and track its progress. Now in iAuditor, you can assign corrective actions to people outside of your organization using their email address.

3 New iAuditor Improvements You Need To Know

We’ve listened to your feedback recently and have made a number of improvements to our product.

New navigation & actions center on web

Say hello to two visible improvements that have just been released in the iAuditor web app. The first is updated navigation, making it easier to find what you need quickly. The sidebar won’t hide when your cursor isn’t on it, and options the sub-menus are now displayed along the top of the page. The second is the introduction of the "actions hub," a place where you can review all of your actions from your computer. In the "actions hub" on your computer, you can sort and filter all actions based on a site, status, or assignee, giving you better visibility into what’s going on in the field.

Introducing the new “Collaborator” user type in iAuditor for just $4 per month

Introducing a new type of user in iAuditor who can log and help resolve issues for just $4 per user each month. These “collaborators” can record any observation, hazard, near-miss, incident, good catch, or custom category that is relevant to your business in real time, and drive immediate action within iAuditor.
