We understand that from time to time, you may find your mobile device without a stable internet connection, but still needing to start new or edit existing inspections. Whilst you can always start inspections from templates on the mobile app, online or offline, you in most scenarios must have an internet connection on your mobile device to edit existing inspections.

This article shows you how to store inspections on your device so they can be accessed even when you’re offline. Please note that this article only applies to the iAuditor mobile app on Android and iOS.

Before you begin

Please be mindful that storing inspections locally can take up storage space on your device over time. You can set a limit to store only inspections conducted within the following timeframe options:

  • 1 week
  • 2 weeks
  • 1 month
  • 3 months
  • 6 months
  • No Limit (sync all inspections)

Store inspections on your device

Mobile app: Android

  1. Log in to iAuditor on your Android device.
  2. Tap “More” at the lower-right corner of your screen.
  3. Select “Settings” from the list of options.
  4. Select “Account” from the list of options, below your user email.
  5. Toggle on “Store inspections on device”.
  6. Tap “Inspection Sync Limit” to select the timeframe limit you wish to set.

Mobile app: iOS

  1. Log in to iAuditor on your iOS device.
  2. Tap “More” at the lower-right corner of your screen.
  3. Select “Settings” from the list of options.
  4. Toggle on “Store audits on device”.
  5. Tap “Audit Sync Limit” to select the timeframe limit you wish to set.
