We understand that from time to time, you may need to export the data your team has captured on iAuditor, including actions. Either to be imported into another platform or simply for record-keeping purposes.

This article shows you how to export actions to CSV (Excel) on the web app and outlines the columns of data that are included in the exports.

Before you begin

Keep in mind that you can only export actions to CSV on the web app.

Please note that only up to 10,000 actions can be exported at once. If you have more than 10,000 actions to export, we recommend filtering your actions list to export in smaller batches.

Export actions to CSV (Excel)

  1. Log in to the iAuditor web app.
  2. Select “Actions” from the menu on the left-hand side.
  3. Filter the actions list to show only the actions you wish to export.
  4. Click the 3 vertical dots on the upper-right corner of the actions list and select “Download CSV”.
  5. This exports all action results, following any applied filters, to CSV.
  6. Open the CSV file in Excel or the spreadsheet reader of your choice.
  7. Repeat from step 3 for any other actions you wish to export.

CSV column headers

Please note that the “Inspection” and “Inspection item” columns of an action will not be populated in the CSV file if the relevant action is linked to an inspection that is now archived.
