You may work with others outside of your iAuditor team, but your use of actions doesn’t have to be limited. Assign actions to people outside of your iAuditor team using their email address.  If someone is assigned an action and does not have edit/view actions to the inspection, then they can see the inspection and question from which it came from, but not click through to the inspection.

Mobile: Assign an action via email

  1. Log in to iAuditor on your phone or tablet.
  2. Go to the “Actions” tab along the bottom
  3. A list of existing actions in your team appears.
  4. Click the “+ Create Action” button along the bottom.
  5. The logging screen presents.
  6. Insert the action title, description (optional), site (if set up by your team), and priority.
  7. In the “assignee” field type in the direct email of the recipient (e.g. [email protected])
  8. Select to assign to that email.
  9. Press “Create Action”
  10. The person assigned receives an email, letting them know you’ve assigned an action.
  11. The action will appear in the list for all members of your team.
  12. The external assignee can update the priority and evidence fields as necessary to complete the action.

Web: Assign an action via email

  1. Login to the iAuditor web app
  2. Select the “Actions” menu from the left-hand pane
  3. Your actions list populates with a view of all actions across your team.
  4. Click on the blue “Create action” button in the upper-right corner
  5. A pop-up presents with the option to add an action title and description (optional).
  6. A new action’s status view presents.
  7. From here, you can add an assignee, media, or details to your action, a site, and priority.
  8. n the “assignee” field type in the direct email of the recipient (e.g. [email protected])
  9. Select to assign to that email.
  10. Update as needed, and select the “back” option. Note: Pressing the blue “Complete” button will change the action’s status to complete, not complete your creation.
  11. Your action automatically saves.
  12. The person assigned receives an email, letting them know you’ve assigned an action.
  13. The action will appear in the list for all members of your team.
  14. The external assignee can update the priority and evidence fields as necessary to complete the action.
