We understand that workplaces are fluid and structures can change within teams. Whenever personnel changes take place, it’s a good idea to assess whether you need to add more user seats or licenses for team members in your iAuditor organization, or potentially remove any that are unused to save cost.

This article shows you how to add and remove subscription user seats or licenses for your organization on the web app.

Before you begin

If your organization has actions only, issues only, or actions and issues only user seats, please follow the instructions on how to add and remove feature-specific user seats.

Please note that user seats or licenses can only be added on the web app, by administrators or users with the “Billing Management” permission. Learn more about permissions and how you can assign them as an administrator.

Keep in mind that annual subscription user seats can only be removed 28 days before renewals. For example, if your next subscription renewal date is 2020 October 18, then you can only remove user seats 28 days before that.

Add user seats

Annual subscriptions

  1. Log in to the iAuditor web app.
  2. Click your organization name on the lower-left corner of the page.
  3. Select “Subscription” from the tab on the top of the page.
  4. Click “Edit” on the upper-right of the “Subscription” box.
  5. Update the “Total seats” field to the number of user seats you wish to have. For example, if you wish to add 2 user seats to your current 8 seats, enter the number “10”.
  6. Click “Save changes”. This charges your payment method a prorated amount, proportional to the number of days left in the current subscription period.
  7. You can now fill the user seats by adding users to your organization.

Monthly subscriptions

Organizations on our monthly subscription can increase their user seats by simply adding the number of new users required. Each user you add automatically increases the user seat. If the increase takes place during the monthly subscription period, the charge will be a prorated amount proportional to the days left in the period.

Remove user seats

Annual subscriptions

  1. Log in to the iAuditor web app.
  2. Click your organization name on the lower-left corner of the page.
  3. Select “Subscription” from the tab on the top of the page.
  4. Click “Edit” on the upper-right of the “Subscription” box.
  5. Update the value in the “User seats” field to the number of user seats you wish to have. For example, if you wish to remove 2 user seats from your current 8 seats, enter the number “6”.
  6. Click “Save changes”. Please note that the number of user seats cannot be less than the number of active users and pending invites in your organization. Learn how to free up user seats by deactivating users.

Monthly subscriptions

Organizations on our monthly subscription can decrease their user seats by simply deactivating or removing the users who no longer need iAuditor access. Each user you deactivate or remove automatically decreases the user seat. If the decrease takes place during the monthly subscription period, the subscription will be credited with a prorated amount proportional to the days left in the period.
